I recently installed a Softronics flash on my 07 Cayman base model.. While the 2.7 will never provide monster power. The flash did wake up the car, and it feels more powerful acroos the operating range.. Also the Softgronic customer support is top notch. Next is a soul cat back exhaust..
Pipes arrived, doing my download on the flash hopefully Sat. Will take a before and after video of exhaust sound and butt dyno... for the everyday owner. PS my Chinese Color Wheel Caps are still in mint condition....lol

Was deleted due to one guy that had to much time on his hands and went down some OEM rabbit whole for plastic wheel caps....lol.... check on Amazon, you'll find them...about $27 per 4. They fit and work fine.
OP, let us know if you notice any change in sound after installing that X-pipe tip outlet, I am genuinely curious to hear your thoughts. OK, just did the download flash read of my car and sent off to Scott at Softronis...30K mile check being done and NPH X pipes being added this week, while I wait on the flash to be sent back.
Very easy process, took all of 5 min to download info from my car. Did NOT hook up a battery charger, no need since you're hooking up a laptop to the car and the software is already resident on your PC....LOL. That's why I hooked up power to my laptop, it's battery is fried, unless its plugged to external power. Still a good idea if your battery on laptop is good.
Now it feels like early Christmas, waiting on the file to come back.....jack it up Scott!!

I installed the Softronic ECU flash along with Dream 2 tip and Carnewal GT catback on my ‘14 BS early last Spring. This is an excellent combination of relatively simple synergistic upgrades for a car which sees primarily road use. The muffler mods move the torque curve up, and the ECU flash adds torque along the power band spectrum to accommodate. The “whole is greater than the sum of its parts” bundled improvement in performance and sound is remarkable. Highly recommended!

I have been talking to Scott for a while about this mod and pulled the trigger as some of you know last week. I just finished my flash and took it out for a spin.
My first butt dyno reaction was "holy effing *&^%" !! I had to back off in scond gear until I could get to the highway. Scott was nice enough since I purchased last week to give me the additional discount today. Now thats customer service. His response time to all questions is personal and very efficient. He likes what he does and you can tell in your conversations.
My car is now on steriods and softronic logo lives up to its design. I could not be more pleased. The car has a deeper resonance, and I can hear a "burble" when coming off the gas pedal. It's nice and not loud, just a nice addition. The torque range is tighter and the car pulls ALOT more with the added torque. It's a BEAST now.
The process is easy, download takes about 10 min, send file back, you'll have your program flash back in a day or so. Anyone can do this, it's very easy. I didn't hook up any batt back up, it's so fast, not needed. The cool part...when the upload starts all the cars fans come on like "it's alive" and getting its power infusion.
Once I was to the I-95 entry ramp, no cars ahead, I was at 105 before entering the highway, then backed off, it's a completely different car. I trust Scott in the HP and Torque ramp up's, it's very evident. I'm very pleased and highly recommend this MOD. My X pipes, also from Softronics will be put on this Thursday. I have a before video and will post after they are installed. Buy this, you'll be very happy with the investment and performance enhancements!!

Had a very detailed conversation with Scott from softronics. I won't name names but I couldn't even get another company to call me back after a VM and a direct FB message.
Scott answered all of my questions, I am no longer hopping from site to site, forum to forum looking for the ellusive perfect and so called "custom" tune.
Going full speed ahead with softronics tune for my 987.1 S.

Second butt dyno report : AAAAmazing!!! Clutch response much tighter, torque continues to amaze, all system are "go for launch" with this upgrade!! :banana::dance::thanks::drivingskid::drivingskid:
