I take no credit for finding this, but I came across this deal at my favorite deal site. Here is the link to the post: 3-Year ALLDATAdiy Subscription (One Vehicle) $50

Basically, you can get a 3-year sub, for one vehicle, with the coupon code DIY3YRMATCH.

I figured others may be interested in the deal, so I wanted to post it here... hopefully people notice it!

I'm moving this up as a sticky.. I just used it to create a new account for my Boxster, and just quickly looking at it (diagrams, something I use a lot) it's MUCH improved over the old version.

Super deal!

If you take advantage of this deal - please post here. We would like to talk to the AllData people about a Planet-9 discount.

I've never used Alldata before, but have known it to be a good source from the comments of others. I signed up and was greatly disappointed by the low level of information. In my case, I signed up for a 2007 Mercedes E350 which is my daily with 240km. Things like diagrams and part numbers are scarce. Am I missing something? Perhaps it's better with some makes than others?

I believe it's only as good as it can be for different models based on the information the vehicle manufacturer supplies. What I found interesting is how improved the '09 987.2 information was on their new website vs the old one. It was easier to search and things like diagrams had obviously been redone by AllData so they're readable without having to print out and link up multiple pages of diagrams. It also includes the original factory diagrams (the multipage things) - but improved over the earlier version in them being scalable and having readable text on them (on the old ones the text blurred out if you expanded the display size - no longer the case.)

I haven't purchased it for my Cayenne - yet - so I can't say if that was similarly improved.
