I can't find a shop willing to install a wavetrac lsd into my transaxle.
I'll have it out of the car for the clutch job.
Really just need it installed properly and backlash set correctly.

Any guidance would be super!

I couldn't find anyone either last year when I tried. All wanted to put in a Guards LSD. I gave up. FYI, Wavetrac is really a TBD (torque biased diff). I think that confuses some shops.

You may want to ask Sharkwerks, as they have pretty good reputation and they are in your area

Quick update, I reached out the Sharkwerks and they do not assist with this type of build.
Apparently, they will only install what they sell. Furthermore, if I bring them a transaxle and want a diff put in, they won't do that either.

Now that I have a Wavetrac diff and don't have anyone to install it, I realized that I also need new carrier bearings. I can't find anything on them.
Does anyone know the part numbers for the carrier bearings in the 987.2 6mt?

Try reaching out to Carrera Motors in San Mateo. I haven't done any work like what you're trying to do, but Adam was great to work with, and did a great job for the things I did need to do.
