Hello!

With women given the right to drive in Saudi Arabia, I understand there is a large demand for driving instructors. I have been a driving instructor for 20+ years and would be interested (assuming other aspects of the move were acceptable) in moving to Saudi Arabia to teach driver education.

So my foolish question is...

Would an English-only speaking person like myself even be considered for a driving instructor position? If so, how would I go about applying?

Please, only respond if you have pertinent information. I know this thread could quickly turn into a lot of "LOL" posts.

Thank you!

Sorry for responding too late.

In short, driving instructors jobs are limited to locals (Saudi nationals). We expats are banned from certain jobs, one of which is driving instructor.

Any jobs they’re self sufficient with, they don’t hire expats for it. Expats are only allowed o carry out on demand jobs.
