My arsenal consisted of the following...

clay bar
blue dawn
Sonax Wheel Cleaner
Adam's Invisible Undercarriage Spray
P21S Total Auto Wash All Purpose Degreaser
Zaino Z-2 with ZFX
Zaino Z-6 Ultra Clean Gloss Enhancer Spray
Zaino Z-8 Grand Finale Spray Seal
Zaino Z-9 Leather Soft Spray Cleaner
Zaino Z-10 Leather in a Bottle
Zaino Z-14 Plastic Magic Cleaner & Polish
Zaino Z-16 Perfect Tire Gloss
(can you tell I love the zaino products)
Can of rubbing compound
Swiss Wax Wheel Wax
a plethora of microfiber towels
good old fashion elbow grease
floor jack
torque wrench
6 hours of my time

So last Saturday it was such a beautiful day in the Northeast I put my arsenal to good use and did the following steps:

  1. washed entire car with blue dawn
  2. clayed entire car
  3. jacked up car and removed wheel.
  4. sprayed Sonax wheel cleaner (this stuff is awesome)
  5. sprayed wheel wells, calipers with P21S, let soak
  6. cleaned wheel wells, calipers, let dry
  7. went to work on the wheels, two years of brake dust on the inner rim, not fun, here's where I used a lot of elbow grease, along with a little bit of rubbing compound diluted with water. 20 minutes later, you could eat off these.
  8. back to the wheel wells, sprayed Adams Undercarriage spray
  9. back to wheels and used Swiss Wax Wheel Wax (I could eat this stuff)
  10. wheels back on, repeat steps 3 through 9
  11. rinse car
  12. apply Z-2 with ZFX, let dry for 20 minutes
  13. buff
  14. apply Z-6
  15. Z-2 again, and again Z-6
  16. apply Z-8...looks like liquid metal
  17. apply Z-16 Tire gloss
  18. pop all hoods/doors clean jams
  19. apply Z-9 to all leather, getting in all nooks and crannies
  20. apply Z-10 to all the smell
  21. apply Z-14 to all plastic in interior
  22. vacuum
  23. admire work

The car looks like it just rolled off the lot.....time for a

Notice I did not clean the glass per se, I used the clay bar plus the Zaino polishes, and the only thing I did not do, which I will do this weekend, is give a good cleaning to my exhaust tips. Sorry no pictures of the process, I was in the zone plus too tired to snap any photos afterward.

Enjoying the drive.

That sounds like a lot of work. Hopefully you won't get any rain for a long time.
