Hi there ,

i have a Capristo exhaust system that I bought for Cayman S 2008.
I would like to know if I will be able to install it in one of the following cars :

Boxster 2002 , 2.7 986
911 Cabriolet 2009, 997 3.8s pdk

Many thanks

I'll let experts chime in here, here is what I think w/ what I know so far.

the 911 is a rear mount, while the cayman/boxster are mid mounts - making the engine orientation (facement) different - so I would say that the exhaust won't fit the 911 you listed.

The Boxster is an older generation one, but it does share the same size engine - so there is a possibility (and this is were I'll let others chime in better). I would guess it may be better to sell this one and get one specifically for that car.

Thanks,
Ben

Edit: My uneducated guess on the 2002 Boxster would be no, but this is just a guess and let others overrule it...

I highly doubt it. Exhausts are different. It is possible that accidentally your exhaust would fit the Boxster, but highly unlikely. No way on the 997.

Capristo is a great unit, and there are many people that would buy it used.

One more thing, the 2002 Boxster engine is the old M96 if I remember correctly!
