Hey,

I am looking for a 2nd hand Cayenne at the moment and most of the cars for sale i see are Hybrids.
Through the grape wine someone told me the hybrids have a lot of issues, hence there are plenty on the market.
What is the best Cayenne to get from 2010-2011? Probably a Diesel?
Keep in mind we have 300% import tax on cars here, so a Cayenne Turbo or anything would cost me the same a Lamborghini Aventador in the states ;)
Trying to keep the second hand purchase below $150,000 USD.

Thanks in advance ;)

If I'd have to chose between Hybrid and Diesel , I'd go Diesel. Just because H is a newer technology that will evolve even more in the future, at a faster rhythm. So you'll be behing always.
2011-2014 Cayenne Hybrid ,was something like 2 km in electric mode.
The new 2015 E-Hybrid , gets around 40 km on electric mode only.
And I'm sure the next gen will be much better.

Diesel is a proven technology and very very economical.

I've driven a brand new Panamera e-hybrid recently, horrible experience. Drive train feels super artificial, would always go diesel.

+1. Test drove a CPO'd Hybrid S, then bought a 2013 Diesel. That 3.0L turbo diesel has been around a long time in the Q7 and Touareg... very reliable, and tons of torque. Feels fairly powerful, tows like a dream - glad I made the choice.
