It seems in my area it is easier to find a used 2006 Cayman S than other years. What changes did the car see from 2006 - 2008? Anything I would miss or should look out for in a 2006 model year for later years?

Thanks.

As near as I can tell, the Cayman went unchanged through 2008. In 2009 Porsche went "Gen II" and offered PDK.

I have found very changes, but perhaps there are more than things such as TPMS being an option in 2006, but standard from 2007 on. - Phil

Most changes were minor between 2006-2008, items like you noted where TPMS was an option in 06 but required in 07-08, obviously some color pallette changes or moving colors around in the cost structure, different wheel options and even some options coming and going throughout the build cycle depending upon availability. There were of course the Design Edition and Cayman S Sport versions that were made as well as basically packages of certain options with some unique paint/decal options.

Were traction control/PSM standard in 2006?
PASM available in 2006?

I noticed on the Boxster traction control/stabilty control weren't available
in 1997 and became optional in 2001. When did they become standard?
