So I've installed the ipd competition plenum and Tb kit on my 987.1.
When you install you remove the rear (intake plenum) flapper and plug the vacuum line.
So why do you leave the front flapper connected and operational?I understand that it has something to do with air pulses but does it really matter?
It makes more sense to me to disconnect both...
Could you operate with both disconnected and be left "wide open"?

TIA

Call Scott at Softronics as he remaps the remaining resonance valve, Vario cam Plus, Ignition and fuel delivery maps to compliment the larger throttle body and Plenum. He also suggests a long tube header system to help remove the spent exhaust as efficiently as possible. His flash really improved my mid range torque a lot. I use Soul catless headers and a Milltek muffler.
