My wife and I ordered a Cayman S today (for her, but I hope to get to drive it too ) and got a slot for a November build. Delivery expected in Jan '07!

Specs: Speed Yellow / Black Full Leather
Pref. Package with Tiptronic, 19" SportDesign wheels, PCM 2.1 extended, Sport Chrono Plus, Auto Climate control, Park Assist, Yellow seat belts.

Lots of useful info on this site, which is much appreciated. Will hang around here for vicarious thrills while we wait.

It was between Arctic Silver / Terracotta and Speed Yellow / Black. The clincher was the test drive vehicle (Yellow/black) which my wife really liked. (Also, I showed her all the photos in the registry)
