Congrats on a wise choice :)

I wonder how does it compare to GTR exactly. GTR was once on my short list. But then it was too heavy and too much electronics for me.

I've driven a GTR a lot. It feels great at the absolute limit, it looks good.

It doesn't sound exciting in normal situations, at regular speeds it feels like a really fast optima. Interior quality is good.

Porsche outdoes it in driver feel, interior, and fun at low speeds.

The GTR is obviously much faster when at the limit, its AWD system is great. So if you live in a place with bad weather conditions, it may be the best choice? Luckily. I live in a sunny desert some im good.

Nice location for a Cayman photo.
?
The OP message has interesting points to go through; C63 and GT-R vs the 981.

But that picture overshadowed everything. The colors surrounding the car are very zen.

EDIT:
Oops! I forgot CONGRATS and welcome back to the swamp.

I did notice that too and you're right. But I was afraid if I commented on that too, I'd fit Hollywood stereotype of being an Arab living in a tent with cars on the sand :(

It's good to know I'm not the only one here with a paved garage outside my tent ;)
