After my 07 Cayman S sat for 2 weeks, I started the car and got a CEL.
My shop scanned and cleared the error code. Essentially it registered
Random/multiple cylinder misfire detected
Cylinder 1 misfire detected
Cylinder 3 misfire detected
Is this error the result of the car sitting and some seepage into
cylinders causing a misfire? It has never happended before.

So long if it doesn't pop up again and there is no weird sounds from the engine, I would just ignore and carry on

In the service history of my 981 CS it once listed the same CEL. The dealer inspection showed nothing and they reported it as probably bad gas. In the year that I've owned the car it has never missed a beat. So I would guess it was nothing, but I would top off my tank with some good gas.

I had to do a couple of short moves once: take the car out of the driveway, then a bit later move it back in. The next day it briefly ran rough after I started it and I got a CEL with misfire codes. Never happened again.

My guess is your codes are just from the long sit. If it doesn't happen again I wouldn't worry about it.
