Hey All,

I have a 2006 CS with ~45k miles, and it started throwing a check engine code P0036 - H02S Heater Control Circuit (Bank 1 Sensor 2). My understanding is that this is the heating element in the oxygen sensor (driver's side or left side, post-catalytic converter). Well, this morning I replaced the sensor with a brand new one. The code stays off for the first drive, but it returns the next time I start the car.

I'm kind of at a loss as to what to try next. I know there is a fuse related to this circuit, but I think it controls the circuits for all of the oxygen sensors, so I would think I'd be getting a code for all the sensors if there was a problem there. Has anyone ever seen anything similar and can provide any advice?

Thanks,
David
