Upon installing the twin oil pump, there’s a error code(p0016) prompting a fault with the crank angle sensor. Error code is off upon installing back the factory oil pump. Installation is very straight forward as there are only 4 bolts attached to the cylinder head, and there is no buffer for adjustment. Did we missed a step? Any advise.

I would ask TTP if they are familiar with this issue. Mine went on with no issues

Repiled from TTP:

it is not possible to have a problem like this, because you change only the pump and don't touch any electronic items.

But a customer had a similar problem as you.

The reason was - they squeezed the wire from the camshaft sensor between pump and cylinderhead. Your mechanic has to take care when he installed the pump that the wire of the sensor is not squeezed.

When they installed the original pump and had no problem, they did not touch the wire.

Please give me info what's up.

Best regards,

Ferdinand
