My 2008 Cayman S Sport has 15k miles. I was traveling and left it parked in my garage for about a week. When I got in it this morning, I immediately noticed that the clutch pedal seemed very heavy (required more effort) than before. There is otherwise no difference, it engages fine, no problems, but continues to feel like it requires more effort than usual. As I've driven the car today, I've gotten used to it. Possibly this is all just a "brain fart" given that I had not driven the car for a week, and had been driving a VW Golf with a very light clutch. But I frequently travel & drive other cars and have never noticed anything like this before. My question is -- could there be any mechanical or hydraulic problem that could explain the clutch pedal suddently getting heavier on a CS, and hence a reason to have the clutch looked at?
