I did an extensive search on this and got lots of hits. I was not able to get a clear answer though so here we go.

Has anyone installed '06/'07/'08 CS steel brakes (front/rear rotors/calipers) onto an '05 987 base model Boxster? I'm looking to upgrade the brakes on my car since it is getting a 3.4 CS transplant.

Do they bolt on with no mods? If mods are in order, what needs to be done?

Anyone ????
Thanks Craig. Methinks I am forging new ground here.

For what its worth, a poster here from back in the day ( NYSpeedRacer84 ) bolted 996 Carrera base model brakes onto his '05 base Boxster. If you follow the thread below he was going to try 996tt stuff but was defeated by the need to change the front spindles. I was thinking of trying 996tt stoppers as well, and changing the spindles was something I was prepared for. A shop right next to me is parting an '02 996tt as we speak so the parts are available to me. I like the Cayman S setup better though as it is not so over the top and (I'm hoping) more of a "bolt-on" affair.
