Do I need a special catch bottle to bleed brakes?

Start with the outside bleeder valves first on the calipers, then do the inside valves. While bleeding the clutch using your hands push the clutch pedal down, or shall I say let it go down all the way. This needs to be done slowly as the assist spring will want to push it down really hard. First the cluch pedal will act against your push then at some point it will try to run away from you all the way down. Slow movement of the clutch pedal is important to avoid scoring the piston bores. After draining for 30 seconds, while bleeding, bring the clucth up manually and then down slowly. Repeat the process 5-10 times in the next 1 minute. One last time put the clutch down, tighten the bleeder, bring the clutch pedal up manually. You are done. make sure you don't run out of fluid and end up pumping air into the system. If you do it will require PIWIS.

If you are using the Motiv as an air pump, then do not drain more than 250ml of fluid at a time. per wheel. Refill the reservoir to the top after each wheel bleed. Also don't forget to get the old fluid out from the reservoir using a tukey baster and replacing it with fresh stuff to start the process.
