I watched that car race when I was a corner worker at Road Atlanta! IMHO it is one of the most iconic race cars of all time. (By the way, it's turbocharged. )

It's nice, but it doesn't do anything for me. For 7 million, there are many cars that would be purchased before that one.

Great car and iconic. But, it does not have the provenance having never been driven by Mark D. It does bring back fond memories of the halcyon days of CanAm. I was stationed out at the DLIWC and had the chance to go to Laguna Seca to see Dennis Hume and Bruce run their orange McLarens and Hall run his 427 Chapparal. Standing on the 'Dunlop' bridge and watching the Chapparal run underneath, tilt his wing before the corner and belch about 4-5 foot flames was pretty awesome for a 20 year old car nut who had raced Go Karts competitively in my teens.
