My driver side door switches panel went south. One power window button broke...tried to superglue it. Looked horrendous.
The other button just broke and came out. So I decided to order just the buttons from the main auction site. Big mistake....horrendous fitting. Then I ordered a Chinesium complete switch for $25odd. Pleasantly surprised at the quality and the fit. And it works like a charm.
Thought would just share my experience.

I'll be interested in how long the new switch lasts for you. My first Chinese one lasted about a year, then the switches became a bit erratic and one of its buttons popped apart. I was going to glue it - but the guy detailing the car vacuumed it up. So it has another Chinese-sourced one - that I'm hoping lasts longer.

The buttons they sell on fleaBay simply don't fit the original switch assembly. Entirely different mounting. I suspect they might fit the Chinese switches. BTW - if you didn't - taking off the pad off the armrest makes replacing it MUCH easier. The pad comes off by pulling it straight up... it has tabs that go down into clips in the armrest. I learned that with my second installation.

My buddy did it for me.....I think he removed the complete panel.
Oh well one year in the USA will be about 6 months in India.....the climate here in North India is extreme and the dust kills most things.
Will update on the longevity of the switch.
