Went to film the Cayman, I found some roads 1 hr away from Chicago and started the long learning curve of how to film this thing. This is a laughable first attempt, but many lessons learned. Also - my girlfriend won't be joining me next time, she did not enjoy being thrown around the car with a camera or being eaten by flies in the corn fields. There will be learning curve 2 with the go-pro next week.

BTW, any suggestions for a place for "safe" filming in Illinois?

Re: filming the Cayman - the learning curve

Going to have to try some filming, just bought a used Go-Pro Hero first edition. Places to mount?

I am filming tomorrow - will let you know once I use it ;)

[few days later] - I am still waiting to film the car again, I filmed guitar scenes that will be used for the movie. I think that one good place to mount is your forehead (lol). My friend bought a tow hook screw mount - looks decent. I need to make tests with the audio on the stock exhaust Cayman, I am not sure if my RODE mike will like registering it from the outside.
