What is the average finance rate for 5/6 years for a Cayman? I was just quoted %6.75 for 5 years by a dealer in Toronto for a CPO 2016 Cayman GTS. This sounds very high to me. Is it because I'm new to Porsche world?

I recently bought a 2016 GT4. I can't recall what my rate is. Maybe I have too much money. I financed it but could have paid cash for it. Mine is a lease with a buyout after 3 years. I expect to buy the car when the lease is up as I love the car so far. Good luck on your purchase.

It's simple, Porsche is not a volume dealer. A lot of their customers also don't use financing options.

So when you compare to volume dealers like Honda Canada or BMW Canada, they will be able to offer much better rates than Porsche ever can.

It's not so much Porsche world that is the cause of the high finance rates, they don't have the economies of scale.

You are better off using a Home Equity Line of Credit and borrowing from that, and locking into a 5 year fixed rate with a 5 year amortization.
