car 08 987.1 cayman

was going to replace my front fog light, and i read the manuel it saids H8 35W

after i take out the fotlight and try to fit it in, it would not go in, cause the legs are different (h8 is 2 large+ one small, H11 is 1 large+ 2 small)

and the one i had in the car is H11 55w?????
what is going on, is that a common miss print of what??

and with the rear fog light does it only on, on one side(or comes on both side)????

Front fog light should be H11 35W.

Like a fool, I believed the owner's manual on my 2010 Cayman w/standard halogens, and ordered two H8 35W bulbs. Tried to install today and no go. My old bulb says Phillips H11 55W, so I don't think 55W will melt anything. BTW, my OEM bulbs were working fine - I just wanted the fogs to match the whiter/cooler color of my HIDs and the LED strips.
