I live in Nevada and I'm trying to get my 95 C4 to pass smog. it's fine at idle but the CO is 2.23 at 2000 R.P.M. HC is okay. There are no adjustments that I can find. And I changed the oil. Other than that I haven't done anything else. Any suggestions? :helpme:

Clean or replace the MAF sensor, re-flash the ECU to get a leaner mixture, replace the O2 sensors with newer ones or a better grade, replace the air filter, replace/re-gap the spark plugs, change the oil to heavier 10w-50 synthetic in case it's burning some oil, add a free flowing exhaust system with less back pressure, or use a leaner burning fuel with more ethanol in it (just for the test). Hope one or more of these "leaning" ideas helps.

Run a bottle of fuel system cleaner through it, like Techron or Regane. Give it the old Italian tune-up when the cleaner is in the tank.
