Hello,

I currently have a Carnewal GT Exhaust on my Cayman S.
As I understood, this exhaust got rid of the pair of cats inside the silencer.

I am thinking about moving to new headers, but I am wondering if the Carnewal GT exhaust is as "free flowing" as other aftermarket exhausts.

It would be a shame to install new headers and to be restricted by the factory silencer, or is the removal of the cats and the other "modification" done by Carnewal good enough to expect good gains from the headers ?

Any of you runing headers + Carnewal GT Exhaust ?

The Carnewal GT exhaust with 200 cell is an excellent setup.
This exhaust flows a lot better than the standard exhaust.
By installing the 200 cell cats, the sound level will increase with 25-30% but the type of sound will remain the same.
No droning or resonance.

This is how it will sound : (fwiw the 987 in the video is a gen1 with a gen2 rear bumper)
