I'm thinking about getting those HID lights from Pelican Parts for my 2007 Cayman S but I've been reading about how it's not advisable to use these aftermarket kits. One of the issues they brought up was that many cars have a a reflector style housing (versus a projector style) which makes the HID kits problematic for other drivers.
My question involves the the different components of the headlamp assembly. From the looks of my car, the low beam (dipped) bulb is placed a projector style lens while the high beam bulb is in a reflector style. Is this correct? Will HID upgrade kits work properly for the low beams?
