For those of you that have had trouble with your high pressure fuel pump, did you ever notice a slightly rough idle as well? My car seems to be hard to start (from cold) - it can take a few seconds of cranking. The battery is in good shape - trying to determine if the HPFP might be the culprit. The car is an '09 CS with 20k miles.

Thanks

Don't remember having rough idle, but hard/long cranking is symptom of failing HPFP. Pretty much all model year 09 and 2010 were affected. Take it to a dealer, and have them check the VIN to see if it has been serviced under the service bulletin. (there was no recall, but there was a service bulletin so the dealers would check your car when you brought it in for routine mainenance)

I'm on my 3rd HPFP, it took them a couple years to get the design right. I don't remember the part number of the latest/final revision, but it's in one of the HPFP threads here.
