I don’t know of many options for a 981 (if you have a 981) unless you can make one of the suction cup racks work. Seasucker makes one I think?

No Porsche roof transport option for a 981. More options for a 987.

Easy. Just gently place the board on the roof of the Cayman S.

Oh wait, you mean you want to drive with the surfboard on top?
