So I read similar stories but the diagnose seems to be everywhere - the story goes....my 08 cayman never fails to start in the morning - fires right up and there is plenty of juice in the battery.....however if I drive it to say the store, shut if off, go about my business, a try to restart it...it's dead. Depress the clutch, turn the key back to the left and try to restart it. Sometimes this take 1 to 3 tries but it does start.

I heard rumors of ignition switch, loose cables, clutch switch but it seems odd that the problem seems similar yet no one solution

thoughts?

$25 and change and really less than a minute to swap it out with the old one (twist 90 degrees, pull, unplug the old, plug the new, push, twist done)...took me longer to get under the dash.....for now this seems to have rid my gremlins.
