After 23,000 miles I had the brake fluid flushed (RBF600), and stainless steel lines installed. The brake pedal feel is significantly improved - Porsche like.

I of course will not venture out to claim that SS lines helped, because the fluid was old. But I am not regretting installing them, and I would consider doing that on a new Gen 2 car when I get it.

I used a local independent to do the service. I hate dealing with brake fluid, but I feel like I over paid. It was $340 to install the SS lines and bleed brakes. I provided the lines and fluid. I used the Goodridge lines that I purchased used.

I decided that I need to do more of these services myself, even if that means getting a bit messy.
