Is there a poor man way to launch my 718 Boxster without Sport Chrono Launch Control?

I'm guessing you have the PDK. If you are thinking it...let me stop you now....Don't ever rev it in neutral and pop it into gear...That is SOOOOOOOO bad. But the answer is no. and if you have the base model, i know how pitiful it is that first half second before the boost builds up. It hurts that ANY car out there is faster in that first .5 seconds lol

My self I've always wondered what the preoccupation is with drag racing a sports car. Launch control, 0 to 60 times, etc. If I were interested in that I would not have bought a Porsche in the first place. Get a corvette! lol

I believe that Cobb has a PDK tune that will give launch control even for non SC cars. Might want to check with them.

Yes Cobb now has PDK map which has launch control or some equivalent built into their maps.
