Agreed with everyone regarding this specific car... Run and hide. If you want to stay under $40k, there are plenty of 987.2 CS out there that have been well maintained. If you're locked in on the Spyder, you're going to be at $60k for a prime example. I looked at both two years ago and ended up buying a 2010 CS. It's a fantastic car and way more practical than the Spyder (which I know none of us actually cares about). For example, the hatch can even accommodate two sets of golf clubs positioned behind each of the seats and doesn't cause any view obstruction.

That's why I didn't get one years ago but 987 Spyder owners will never agreed to it.
I finally got a 981 Spyder when they came out and while they are heavier they are easier to live

The 987 Spyder is a weekend car for me. It fits my golf clubs just fine, and If I had two slimmer bags, I could probably get two in the boot. I have a 4Runner and a Sportwagen to haul stuff. I did look at the Cayman R, too. I just decided that for my use as a weekend, summer car, I wanted something more special (i.e. open top motoring).

That certainly makes sense
I looked at the SportWagen also but then saw he GTI. Test drove it and yea this is for me. It's like a sports car with room to carry a set of 4 super big tires. Had Porsche dealer install an ARP down pipe with a 200 cell cat and I am all set. Truth be told it's too loud for where I live. Just another reason for me moving.

Next was the 2016 981 and then 2020 718

hahaha, the legend says there is a 914 Spyder, it has a Fiat 126p engine but you still have a cloth that takes 15 minutes to put up 😂

Aren't they (914's) all Spyders after you remove the top or are they just topless. So racy I don't think we can show them on the website. There codes and rules against that type of thing (porn). At least we don't have to figure out how take the top apart and store it in the trunk.
Hope you this one !
