Hi Guys

Anyone have the 'standard' leatherette/alcantara interior?

Am undecided - to go for the standard interior or the partial leather option? Don't mind the look of the alcantara but am a little concerned as to the quality and feel of the leatherette as have not had the chance to see the standard interior. Any advice, comments, regrets, good or bad news regarding either??

Cheers

Any reason why to choose real leather versus fake apart fake apart from cost?
Real leather will age so much better and is always a sensible choice.

I think Alcantara looks and feels like suede. Hello......1970s called and wants their pants back. lol.

I would go with full leather. My father-in-law bought a Macan with full leather and it is nice.

One thing I can say from experience. Both look good and are great, but Alcantera is a bit less durable. It can be prone to pilling And surface scuffing if there is surface scraping. My Cayenne GTS had some of this on the bottom part of the drivers seat. Not sure if it was due to drivers rough and/or wet clothes or a too aggressive detailer. Functionally it was OK but it had some scuffing/pilling before I bought it.
