Hi all,

Porsche newbie here, in the market for a used higher-end Cayman as my first Porsche. Former an M3 daily driver, nowadays I have a "keeper" 2000 M5 (6MT) as my daily. So I have a rough idea on maintenance needs and expenses.

I'd appreciate hearing recommendations on good Porsche mechanics around the north side of San Diego, preferably in the La Jolla / Encinitas / Poway area. I'd rather get a recommendation from you in this enthusiast forum compared to Yelp.

Thanks in advance!

I use mark at Black Forest in Kearny Mesa. They are known for working on older porsches, but modern cars are still in good hands. They have done most of the maintenance and services on my 2007 Cayman S. Knowledgeable, honest, and fairly priced.
