Tis the day before Christmas and out in the garage,
the Porsche lies waiting to once again dodge
the curves and the corners that challenge my skill
Can I wait until spring? Do I have the strong will
or do I break to temptation to throw open the door,
lift off the cover and let the beast roar? :)

But calls from the kitchen beckon me back
to a sad reality that fun times I'll lack
until spring time arrives and sunshine feels warm
and threats of snowfall no longer the norm.
So I back away, back away from the brink
and take up my duties at the kitchen sink! :(

Merry Christmas to all! After sitting on the tarmac for 4 hours last night our flight out of DFW was cancelled. The amount of snow and ice would not impress any of our members in the North, but it was quite an event for all of the folks down here. Looking on the bright side, I am going to check today and see if Cars and Coffee is still on for tomorrow. I have not been able to attend any of the get togethers and I think that would cheer me up.:)

I just purchased a Cayman S last Monday. It's the best Christmas present ever (to myself). ;) This is embarrassing, I never thought I'd fall in love with a car again, but I find myself going to the garage just to look at it. I don't need the radio, the sound of the engine is the best!

Most excellent poem. Come on Spring. And MERRY Christmas to all. Santa brought me new floor mats, a soft socket and more good stuff. Hooray. Ed

May I suggest your really study the owner's manual as there are lots of nifty features in your new ride. And post pictures please. MERRY Christmas. Ed
