Are Michelins still the preferred summer performance tire for Cayman S? I see Continental has a new tire out that Tire Rack has top rated.

The way I go through tires, I’d go with saving the $160 per set. Reviews have been rating the Conti as the equal of the MPSS. Having said that my next tires are MPS4s, because I won a set!

For street, the MPS4s is the best. For track, I am leaving my usual Cup2 for Potzena RE-71R. Much stiffer sidewall, fewer rain grooves, one compound throughout, and a 5 pound weight penalty.

This used to be my daily driver. Now only for nice sunny days. I've always had Michelins on it.
