The body style is a 911. The 2018 RSR is also mid engine. The 2018-19 GT3R is not. The major advantage of the mid engine is much better underbody aero since the rear engine is not in the way. The GT3 R is ~$600k+. We have two of them racing in the POC in my class. The RSR is $1M +. I haven't seen any of these yet.
On a race car the aero improvement is the main advantage. Sure the weight distro is better too but lower drag and higher downforce is the major improvement on track. On a street car the weight distro and lower polar moment is more important as the speeds are much lower the ride height higher and the diffuser much smaller.
