Just showing off some of my random virtual photography from races I've done in the past 12 months.
Porsches or otherwise. (probably not very many Porsches lately actually)

2.4 hours at Sebring, with transition into darkness:

Imola:

Eau Rouge - g-forces be damned:

Photo finish! Teammates finish within .001!!!! of a second of each other after a grueling 2.4 hours of Daytona. (Admin had to check the 4th number after decimal to determine winner) Crazy how close it was after 2.4 hours of racing.

Been a few weeks, need to catch up on some recent races -

Traffic jam - 3 wide going into turn 8 at Elkhart

Suspension at full compression going up Eau Rouge

Most recent race from this weekend - Working the curbs at Montreal hard, trying to get the Viper to use up his tires. Some of the most fun I've had in a while. I was running high downforce setup in the 458, down about 10mph vs the guy in the Viper on Casino straight. But I would eat him up through sector 2. After about 10 laps, finally out braked him in the hairpin and had to protect like hell several times down Casino straight to defend from that big lump.

LeMans is coming up - I've got back to back 90min Lemans races this weekend. Then next weekend have a 2.4 hour Lemans race with 2x fuel. So it'll be like running a 5 hour race strategy wise. Excited!

2 down, one to go.

I'm a sucker for a big V10 down Mulsanne straight, went with Viper this weekend for both races.

Setting sun makes for pretty pictures at Dunlop curves:

Racing into dusk at Ford chicane:

Camera flashes and red hot brakes are the only thing visible in Mulsanne corner.

Flying down to the kink before Indianapolis, 5th gear and at the limit, just got my nose in front of the Aston to make the pass.

Getting a taste of my own medicine - getting out muscled at the chicane at Nurburgring GP by the Viper. The 458 just doesn't have the top speed to match the Viper at the end of the long up hill run into the chicane.

Bump drafting on Daytona banking, holding off the yellow 458 with good old 'Merican V10 top speed.

Threshold braking at it's finest going into 1st chicane at Monza. Fought this guy in the 458 tooth and nail, nose to tail for the last 10 laps after 90mins at Monza, on double stint tires and red hot brakes. White knuckle door to door for the last 10 laps of the race, had to protect the inside line every time coming down out of parabolica down the front straight. He would get much better corner exit out of parabolica with the 458's better cornering speeds. Great race.

The very first 2 pictures of the red 991 are from rfactor 2 - The URD PX & EGT mod.

The rest are from rfactor (1). It's the Simtek WES mod.
For the most part the screenshots are pretty close to what they look like right from the game, I do adjust them slightly for lighting/brightness/contrast, and sometimes add some blur.

They are screenshots from my online races in my simracing league. I've been racing there for 10 years now, have met some great people and some great racers. Some of the guys I've raced against I think are talented enough to race with the pros in real life, there are some bloody fast guys out there, but I'm usually midpack. We've even had a few real life racers like AJ Almendinger and a few young Latin American open wheel guys race at our league.
I do it for the adrenaline rush. Nothing like racing door to door with a guy for 90mins, working tire/fuel strategies at LeMans just like the pros do, and perfecting my race craft.

The adrenaline rush you get from following a guy lap after lap, peeking out and testing his braking in the brake zone, reading where he is faster and slower than you, then setting him up for a pass and executing it. Then working up a sweat to defend your position, there is nothing more fun than that.

It's a pay site, but they do have free guest memberships where you can race for free for X number of events to see if you like racing there. PM me if you want info.
