I just got back from a beautiful ride up and down I-95 in Rhode Island....WOW!!! In December I ordered the Softronic Flash and intake plenum and recently purchased an FVD Brombacher (M&M) exhaust. I have been itchin', to say the least, to get this baby out on the road. This morning I finished up my exhaust install and headed out. I started her up and I thought..."Did I change anything?" Very subtle sound just cruisin' around which is exactly what I wanted. Then once it was warmed up a bit, I got on it and boy did she run!!! The sound is intoxicating and the pull is fabulous. I pulled out onto the highway and opened it up and it just kept pulling and pulling. Very quickly I was up 125 and grinning ear to ear. I did a couple of fast passes by shifting down from 6th to 4th...that to me says it all...the growl of the exhaust really stands out and the acceleration is phenomenal!! Very happy with my modifications...I would recommend them to anyone.
As a follow up, I was on the SpeedArt group and recently backed out due to the obvious frustration. I want to echo the sentiments of other member on this forum. FVD Brombacher is a complete joy to work with!!! From the moment I spoke with Rhonda on the phone, I knew this business would be night and day from the previous exhaust supplier. Friendly, knowledgeable, and willing to go the extra mile to make the customer happy. I ordered my system on Monday and had it by Friday. Now, after the order was placed, Rhonda called to inform me that the system had a slight imperfection on it and she did not want to send it. She stated that more were coming on Thursday and that I would have it early next week. I was a bit bummed due to the nice weekend coming up, but was OK with it. Two hours later I get a phone call from Rhonda stating that she had spoken with another customer who was able to wait until next week for his exhaust and that she was sending it to me!! Wow...that is going above and beyond!! Additionally, I did not have to cut pipes or wonder whether or not this system even came from M&M.
Just wanted to give everyone on this site the opportunity to share in my experience. I have no affiliation with Softronic or FVD Brombacher, but really am happy with both companies and their product. I also would like to send out my sincerest gratitude to Gatorbite for his priceless article, endless time and effort, and everything else he does to make us happy!!!
