Sorry Moderators if this is frowned upon. Let me know for future reference. This is a spinoff from the Paint Peel thread that I posted on with my similar issue to what OP experienced but this is a separate issue.

So, my one month old '15 CS is at the dealership and will be on the way to their P Cert'd Body Shop to have the passenger side rocker panel painted due to minor paint flaking on an edge. In the process, I noticed the passenger side rocker panel/side skirt portion is very flush with the door but the driver side rocker panel sticks out a tad creating a lip. It's noticeable but not too annoying. The body shop rep said they can attempt to make it flush, no guarantees. I said sure, why not, but am I opening the door for possible other issues? Should I just leave it be?

I looked at other 981 on the lot and all of them seem to be inconsistent from driver side to passenger side. Since this piece is plastic, I'm not too surprised. QC tolerances for this must be pretty liberal.

Love to hear your suggestions.

Thanks.

Totally unacceptable, hope they make it right for you and give you some other compensation like a complimentary oil change at the very least.
