Just purchased a 2009 Cayman S that will double as street/DE car. Came with 19 inch wheels but will be adding GT3 lower control arms and keeping suspension as is. Anyone have any suggestions with 18 inch wheels and what size tire can I run. See in the manual can go 8 or 8.5 front and 10 rears.

The O.Z. Alleggerita in 8.5 F & 10.0 R is by far the most popular track wheel. This can easily accommodate 245/40 F and 275/35 R tires. Many choices available. I like BFG R1 as a DE tire but not really streetable.

I'm running OZ Alleggeritas, too, and they're great wheels and look fantastic IMHO. For sizes, I'm using 8x18+57 & 9.5x18+43 to stay legal for SCCA Street class autocross. They fit 255/35-18 front & 275/35-18 ZII & ZII* without rubbing, and keeps the strake very good too.
