For DE folks - this is what you train to not do -
For Overlanders, this is our sweet spot!

Driving off the pavement introduces whole different dynamics that require an approach much different from pavement. A local class and/or controlled experience with and instructor can be very helpful. Especially helpful if the training is geared to how you intend to drive. The continuum varies greatly from Forest Service roads to increasingly more technical routes, to rock crawling, on to events like Ultra4 and the Rain Forest Challange. Here is an upcoming event in the Pacific Northwest that is novice friendly while more experienced will also benefit. Check out local to you groups that offer similar driving and recovery training!

Avants Off-Road is back! Join us for a fun Holiday Avants Off-Road event at DirtFish on Saturday December 17th. Great opportunity to meet fellow off-roaders, learn some new skills and have some fun out on the course!
