So I was still getting oil in my PCV after changing my AOS and would still get smokey cold starts. So I installed an oil catch can after the new AOS. After roughly 1500 miles, I found some oil in the can. Im also reading about -19Hg (gauge is off by +2) at cold idle, dont know what the specs are but im guessing that sounds about right for a 3.4L engine. Let me know what you think.

Hey that is some nice work! Would like to see more details of your installation and where you found that catch can.

It was simple process. All I did was plug one of the two ports leaving the AOS, routed the other one to the catch can (you can see it go below the intake), and the routed it from the catch can to the intake.

I reused the end clips and took them off the plastic OEM PCV hose (heated the ends a little) and replaced them with a 5/8 ID 1"OD dishwasher discharge hose.

I bought the catch can off Ebay Red Oil Catch Can Tank Reservoir Breather Cylinder Aluminum Engine w/ Filter Kit
