Old COBB Accessport PDK maps

Hello šŸ‘‹ Just wondering if there are folks out there with COBB Accessports with PDK flashing who happen to have the old (v2.0x) maps saved – before COBB took them away for good – and are willing to share. I’m mainly trying to track down the Sport/Aggressive maps for a 981 S but if there’s enough interest (and folks are willing) we may be able to make a shared folder and get a collection of maps going that we can all contribute to.

I have the v202 files. PM me your email.

Thank you for offering! Actually another generous member on Rennlist did send me the PDK maps, but now I’m fishing for v2.02 or v2.03 ECU maps for a 981 S – or someone who can explain what COBB changed between v2.00 and v2.03 (since I can’t find any release notes) o_O

The 2.03 ECU maps were in the folder I sent you.

This is not extremely helpful but this is from the Cobb site.

I believe the only v2.03 ECU map was the Stage 1 93. I can only get access to 91 octane around here sadly šŸ˜•

I just updated the file. I did have the 91 octane maps, but it wasn't in the zip for some reason.

So I just attempted a test install and noticed that the PDK version of the maps I have (Q061-CQKD61DMC) is unfortunately different from what AP reports on my 981 S (Q061-CQKD61DYC) 😄 @nhnguy12, do you by any chance know which version your v202 PDK maps are?

Separately, do you folks know if this is something that COBB is able to help with (updating the map files if I send it to them) so that I can use the older maps and not be forced to flash v400?
Cobb won't assist with using old maps. They've been pursued by the California Air Resources Board and EPA and essentially threatened to be put out of business unless they complied. This is why they no longer provide access to the old maps.

You need the ptp file that contains maps for all variants as opposed to the ptm file which contains the map for only one variant.

Yep, exactly what happened (reached out to COBB but they offered no help).

Unfortunately I don’t think a .ptp would exist of the v202 map with the PDK variant I happen to have since (I’m guessing) my TCU was updated during the silly emissions recall and these maps were no longer updated for the new software versions (if that’s what ā€œvariantā€ refers to).
That variant is in my PTP files for the aggressive torque map.

Woah, I didn’t notice that! 😳 But isn’t the High Torque Aggressive map ā€typically used on vehicles that have an increased engine torque output of 50% or more over stockā€? That’s why I never considered it.

Still, this gives me hope that someone out there may have the Aggressive v202 .ptp map lying around. This is exciting; thanks for calling it out!
