Agree … I am slightly modding my Arctic Silver ‘09 Boxster S … wrapping in gloss black the rear diffusers, the spoiler, the side vents on the rear quarters, the lower mirror caps, and the front vents. Also having the 19” wheels refinished with a combination of black gloss with hyper chrome accents and lightly smoking the rear rails lights. Considering doing a ceramic coating … in terms of whether it’s right or not to mod a car, I can argue myself to sleep on that point … but my creative side always wins … I always mod a little. Have since my first 1969 beetle, but that’s a story for another time!

i did but they will run you $4k+ for a good one around me from what i can see.
True this: I paid $4k+ for my wrap, but since I don't have the skill (to do the painting), the patience (to disassemble and reassemble the car), or the space (we probably have the world's smallest 2-car garage) that you have, a wrap was the best choice for me (a good paint job would have cost at least 3X as much). Plus, my Cayman is my daily driver, and it was tough enough to go without it for a week while they were wrapping and ceramic coating it. ;)

You're doing an awesome job, and I love the color; a guy I know has a GT3 that he painted pretty much the same color, and it's just stunning in person.

:)

Mods are great when done right. And they are awful when shortcuts are taken or the mod product is cheap. Compared to most cars that get modded, Porsche’s are done tastefully and to a high standard.

💯 agree.

when i picked this color, its because i want a GT3 and was looking at them and seen a few like this lol so I copied it until i can afford one lol i might try to sell this to gain the money towards a GT3 🤞

Looks great! I colored changed an MR2 and and an RX-7…. Never again!!! It’s a monumental amount of work…. Granted this was all pre-sanded stripped in the garage and painted at a dealership collision est my neighbor ran…. Huge saving and both turned out amazing…. Anyway my hat goes off to you. With all the wrapping done today I’m surprised to see color change like this
