If you don't feel it or observe anomalous readings on the tach, what's the problem?

Keep in mind that the transmission controller makes short-term adaptations to your driving style. Life on the roads around here consists of 99% soporific crawling and 1% fun. On the rare occasions when I can push the car a bit, the PDK's behavior in either mode, auto or manual, is noticeably different. After a few minutes' worth of driving in traffic, the behavior reverts to what I'm accustomed to.

Your dealer can do nothing with the PDK except reset it, but I'm skeptical that will have any useful effects. Porsche doesn't allow them to take a wrench, a screwdriver, a hammer, or a soldering iron to it. This is a Good Thing.
