Found the perfect tool to remove those sticky radio jobs on 991, 981s. Typically it takes a very strong pull to remove these and there difficult to get a hold of. This tool on Amazon works perfectly. It was designed for removing plastic covers on lug nuts.

I had absolutely no trouble pulling my radio knobs off by hand. Same with reinstalling them. Lined them up and gave them a push. No tools required in my case.

I tried everything to pull them off of my Cayman to no avail. When I used the tool above I still had to pull hard and the knobs ended up in the back compartment when they popped off. Installation of new knobs was really easy. They just snapped on.

by any chance does someone have the part # for the radio knobs. I used the tool above - 1 removed ok and the other broke with plastic part and spring still around the metal. It was a pain to remove but finally got it off. Now I need new knobs. Thanks.
