Yes... Ive read other related posts.
Yes... I've read the owners manual, and it's not in german.

but still... the passenger window goes down a little when you open the door... But it doesn't do back up when closed.

No binding, no blockage, and the drivers works fine.

Am I reading the manual wrong?
I run the window up, and then push the up button again to reset...
but no work.

Do I need to disconnect the battery to reset the whole system?
:helpme::thanks:

Your battery may be on its last leg.

My battery just had to be replaced. Ironically my window was doing the very same thing. If you think you battery could be low or needing replacement - get it checked out. Dealer will warranty the bat as long as you drive 6k miles a year. They can also check out the charge.

Just a thought.

Not sure if this will help or not, but worth a try before buying a new battery...

Try lowering the window, then raising it to the top and keep holding the button in the up position for an additional 2 seconds. I believe there may be some sort of memory setting that ocurrs when this happens. May not help, but worth a shot. Goodluck.

Thanks for the replys...

But...
Holding the button an additional 2 seconds didn't work...

Disconnecting the battery...
ick... that gave me PASM error message
and sport mode error message.
Both were reset by driving around the block.

Drivers window still functions properly.
passengers comes down a few millimeters on opening...
but doesn't go back up.

Anyone else got an idea?

sounds like you need a trip to the dealer.

Are you doing the correct procedure to reset the window stop that is in the owners manual? I assume you are since you say your read it, but you never know. Your last post made me wonder.

Bretster...
I've read all the window sections of the manual several times...
trying to figure it out... My wife says I can be dense at times tho...

I believe this is the section that is relavant...
Taken from the manual... page 27...
"Storing end position of the windows
1. Close the window with the rocker switch once.
2. Press the front half of the rocker switch again to store the end position of the windows in the control unit."

It is the passenger door window that won't go up that last few mm after closing the door. It comes down a few mm when it opens.

Do they mean the driver side rocker switch controls or passenger side?
What do they mean by "front half of the rocker switch"?
There is a top and bottom to the switch...
but a "front half"?

I've tried many possible combinations...

Please... tell me I'm missing domething...

Thanks
