Jenny, Jenny, who can I turn to?
You give me somethin' I can hold on to
I know you think I'm like the other dogs
Who saw your name and number on P9's yule log
Jenny, I got your number
I need to make you mine
I swear I'll make a good pet
Promise not to drool all over your Corvette
Jenny, don't change your number

Until recently here in Connecticut plates for years were always three numbers, a dot and then three letters. They recently went to 7 mixed letters/numbers and while trying many combos I ended up with "981.GTS", perfect. It's only known by those in the Porsche know, past that, it looks like any other regular Connecticut plate, easy to forget...
Same boat here ... The Camaro is on its way out, and 987 on its way in. Question is whether or not the Cayman lives up to the plate ??
I'll probably use it anyway
