Re: 7mm wheel spacers for 981 CS

Where did you buy your 981 Cayman S wheel spacers? I saw on Schnell's site the 981 spacers are DIFFERENT than 981 Cayman S spacers, but yet I don't think they sell them...

Thoughts?

I use the spacers I bought for my 987.1. As long as they are hub centric (on the 981) there really shouldn’t be different. FWIW I bought them from a local Porsche tuner, because of the offset of my Fuchs wheels.

check ECS for hubcentric spacers.
Re: 7mm wheel spacers for 981 CS

I bought a set of inexpensive 3mm spacers on Amazon and have been happy with them. Small spacers are just a simple and inherently tolerant of tolerance and quality since there's so little that can go wrong with them. The real question is where to buy the new lug bolts!

I didn't realize until your post in the 987 forum that 981S was different from other Porsches. What's different about 981S and 987 spacers? Is the screw pattern to hold them on different? If that's your issue, you don't need to use those screws, that's just for convenience when lining the spacers up, the lug bolts to all the structural work, the little alignment screws don't actually do anything important.
