My wife was using the passenger side vanity mirror in the sunvisor. Long story short the mirror lid broke off. I can't find a part number for the lid, so I've priced the replacement visor (w/Interior Light Package) at about $400! I couldn't find any salvaged parts on eBay. Anyway, once I get this expensive replacement I would like to replace the old one without breaking any plastic covers or anything else expensive. I searched the forum about sunvisors and mostly found threads on removing the air bag warning placards. I'd like to find instructions or a video on how to R&R the sunvisors. Thanks in advance!

Perhaps the weakest part of the car....my 987 broke the cover hinge the first time the GF flipped up the vanity mirror cover. The 981 has the same issue as both covers have broken hinges and ironically they're not used by either driver or passenger. What supplier makes this uber cheap breakable part that should never be on a Porsche?
